Too high to fly?

This one sat for a day and a half on top of Candida Double White, right above the open flower and let me get the camera within 3 inches to take a bunch of pictures of him. I'm really starting to believe the Brug pollen affects them oddly. But they always come back for more, lol! Usually they chase us, but this one was running from me... well, crawling and wobbling actually.

Lynne, If that was me I would either get the fly swatter or the raid. Wasp would have to go one way or another.

They are protected at my house, Jatana, because they eat grasshoppers. The only one that is in danger ALL the time is a yellow jacket - don't like them - will not tolerate them.

The wasps are thick on my bush morning glory. Had to be careful picking the seeds off because everywhere I reached there were wasps.
