Donna - so glad she quit "teasing you"! amd finally bloomed. I have alot of buds ready to open, but I am concerned about the predicted weather in the next week or so. It is COLD today and the wind is a killer! Was worse at the beach!!
Going to hibernate the rest of the day!
I agree with Carrie---I so much hate the cold and dampness of winter...c'mon spring!!! I have heard predictions of a bitter cold February--worse than past years with hard freezes throughout the south--that does not make me a bit happy!
The past summer and this winter have dealt us too much strange weather---Please beg MN to stop!

Donna, looks like you got the thumbnail pics just right..."good on ya" as my Aussie friends say. How wonderful to have the brug buds finally opening. Let's see, probably 6 months before I see that here?!!
this would be my brugs

Donna, she's looking great! And the fragrance...? Have you and your husband been out to see them at night yet?

Donna, how exciting. The only "white" around my house is snow. So glad you warmer zone guys are getting blooms, and I sincerely hope the weather holds out for you. There will be enough frozen plants from the rest of us.

When I grew up/lived in NH I spent my winters on the ski slopes and loved it and the snow was what we all hoped for in the winter. Now that I am older (and perhaps wiser?) I cannot deal with cold temps. (And I cannot envision me getting on skiis again at my age!-keeping bones intact is a priority!)
I hope spring arrives soon--I wanna play in the dirt!

Pretty plant. Where are you located that you have missed all the bad weather? I'm sure there are some pretty sad looking plants around the country right now.

Ah yes, warm country. I hope you can keep us supplied with nice pictures all winter. Brug blooms would be pretty with white for a background, but I don't think the brugs would last long. Thanks for your answer and keep those pictures coming. I enjoy them.

So pretty and to see something blooming outside! It has finally gotten cold here and all my flowers that had bloomed early are now frozen
