It's supposed to hit the single digits tomorrow night and 0 degrees in the next day or two. The daytime HIGH on Friday is supposed to be 15. It's just do depressing..my brugs are growing oh so slowly, and I can't seem to keep them warm enough (even with heat mats...).
Oh Kathy, I know what you are dealing with. The temps are going to go down here too, but we are all in better shape than Terry. Maybe she will come by with her shocking temps soon.
Oh b-r-r-r-r-r! I'm feelin' for ya, Kathy. Cold temps serve a few good purposes, like helping keep insect populations under control...but I know we'll all be glad when winter is over.

I know. It's just awful. I do hope Terry logs in. She will probably be having a worse time of it than we are here in Connecticut. UGH!
Patrick, you'll be glad to know that I have thumbnailed my photos (I'm trying not to think of the weather...) and I am trying to set up my photo album. It's a s-l-o-w process for me, but stay tuned...
Bundle up Kathy. It's going to turn frigid!
As I type this it's -6 degrees.
Tomorrow night and Friday night is supposed to go to -15 to -20 below.
Fridays daytime high will be around 0.
I really really hope they are wrong.
I'll be glued to the chair next to the woodstove for the next couple of days.
Do you have a woodstove Kathy?
Kathy how are you doing during this cold we are having?
It's -20 here and I won't be surprised if it hits -25 to
-30 before morning. It never got above -2 today.
I hope you and your Brugs are staying warm.
Ok, I'm tellin' y'all right now....I ain't NEVER moving to the NE! Most of Alaska is warmer than the temps you folks are looking at. Boy, do I feel for you. I hope it warms up to something more reasonable very soon.

Patrick, the NE does have it's good points - it's just hard to think of any right now.
Terry, we DO have a wood furnace and we spent all weekend splitting more wood for it. I don't know how you raise brugs at all up there with the temps YOU have! It's beyond me...
Glad to hear you've got a wood furnace. There's nothing like wood heat to take the chill out of the body when it's cold.
It seems like I've been hugging the woodstove for days now. I'll sure be glad when these below zero temps are gone.
Sometimes I don't know how I raise Brugs either. I must be crazy.
In my mind I see a cartoon of Terry huddled over the wood stove, loving the radiant heat. She looks over her shoulder to find her brugs have all crept up behind her, holding their leaves towards the stove. hee hee

Patrick it's been so cold that the Brugs have shivered all their leaves off.
I don't mind sharing the heat with a bunch of cold naked Brugs but if they try to take my seat next to the stove I'll have to fight them off with my trusty pruners.
Oh, my goodness, the humor on this forum ---- I love it. I can see Terry sitting by the fire, pruners in hand, just waiting for a leafless brug to try to take her spot. You go girl !!!!
