PCWorld Magazine says Irfanview is one of the most popular free software applications for photo imaging. Check it out:

It's compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP and possibly a few others.

Takes a while to figure it out but is quite extensive with what it can do for your images. ( or I am just slow, it's been 2 years for me )

We sure are getting a lot of snow tonight, AND freezing rain. I couldn't get to work. SO here I sit, next to my indoor brug room .... just dreaming of the upcoming season.

I tried to download the software, but got bumped out twice. I use XP. I wonder why.

Maybe it's your connection in this storm John, I have XP and use Irfanview.

I love Irfanview. Been using it for several years. I'm sure it offers more than I actually use it for too. Maybe one day I'll sit down and see what it has to offer.
