MN bringing spring early?

We got temps at or near 70 today, spring fever is in the air.     I put my brugs out today on a south wall and will keep an eye out for any late frost.  Spent the day playing in the dirt, cleaning up, and getting ready for when spring is n full swing. I feel for others that are still in the deep freeze. Just get out the seed catalogs and dream of better times to come.

I'm jealous! We had nice temps last week and I was at least able to start clearing out some of my flower beds but we're back below freezing and are expecting snow tomorrow Enjoy your warm weather.

I was able to work in the gardens for about 3 hours today, before leaving for work. Jeans & t-shirt! It was fabulous. I dug, divided & potted perennials that were growing where I wanted to cut a pathway thru a bermed flower bed. I'll be taking a hard look at all that grows in my beds this year; keeping an eye out for spots to put potted brugs.

It seems like sudden warm weather always brings in rain - that's the forecast starting early tomorrow morning. But today's warm & sunny weather was worth it.

Allison, you're braver than I...we still have a month of potential frosts, so I'm not ready to bring my brugs out of the garage. I have too many & some of them weigh too much to be hauling them in and out.

I'm jealous of you two Washingtonians out working in the yard! I was working too, but inside
Perhaps sometime I will get to be outside on a nice day!

My yard is still covered with snow, and we had another couple inches or more today ---making very slick roads.
All plants in sunroom are ready for spring. I won't mind bringing them in & out to deck...it's only one step down & w/ dolly it's no work. We do have temps around 40* forecasted for the weekend! YEAY!!! I just stand by window & dream of where to put things. I don't want any grass this year..maybe just some paths with tall plants around edge of yard. I will need alot of advice, ideas & suggestions. In meantime, I'm just dreaming of summer.

It isn't EARLY here in North Texas. I usually get all by beds cleaned in February, but this year it was a cold month. We are getting wonderful weather right now, but I expect another light freeze around Easter (which is a little late this year). I have all my potting soil ready for when I will feel safe to put my new babies outside.

I envy you all that can go outside and start working in your gardens.
It won't be until at least June or July before us northerners see any flowers so any pictures of your plants in bloom will surely be appreciated by those that are still cold and buried in snow.

Amen, Terry. I will start putting my brugs out during the day and in at night, starting in April (I hope!). I've got them all in carts in front of a large sunny window. That's all I can give them for now.

I'm glad to hear that some of you are outside working. Enjoy! We in the cold, though a little jealous, are happy to hear that SOMEONE is having good weather... Right now all I have are seed and flower catalogs to look at.

But...Spring IS on the way. After this cold snap we are having, the temps are supposed to rise to 51 degrees by Sunday. YIPPEE!!!
