A quick note to the group---Prayers PLEASE!

I talked to Debra this afternoon and Tom is still in the hospital. His lung kept collapsing and they found a second leak--he has to undergo surgery in the morning. I believe this is rather serious due to 2 leaks in the same lung.
I just talked to Tom and he is a trooper! Just wants to go home soon! Let's just wish them an Easter prayer for a full recovery! He will be off work for awhile to recuperate. Debra is handling things well despite her feet problems--they both need our prayers! And Brug love!

Will send up prayers for both Tom and Debra. I hope with surgery, Tom's lung inflates and stays inflated and that they can get back to a normal routine very soon. Debra has suffered so much with her problems too. I continue to pray for her to have better health. Thanks Linda, for keeping us informed of our friends needs. Prayers only take a minute.

Just a quick update--Tom had the surgery yesterday and it went well - he is in the Coronary Vascular Surgical Unit and will be there for several days to monitor him 24 hrs/day, then be moved to a regular room.
Debra said he will be ok eventually but has a long row to hoe and is in alot of pain right now. Hopefully he will recover quickly and be able to come home to recuperate.

Thanks, Linda, this is such good news. I know this will be difficult for both of them, and I know how much our support will mean at this time.

I will continue to pray for a fast, full recovery for Tom, and that Debra has the health and strength to
be able to do all that she needs to do.

Thanks Linda. It's good to hear that the surgery is over and Tom is doing well, considering what he has gone through. The older we get, the harder recovery time is. I hope they go through it quickly and get home where they can both rest well.
