Anyone use Nettle Tea?

Hey, just curious if anyone on here has any experience with fertilizing using Stinging Nettle compost tea? I had a batch fermenting for about two weeks and applied a 1:10 dilution then watered my established in-ground plants. This is my first time using compost tea, but I'm from the school of "If it smells that strong, its gotta do something". Oh yeah, the smell totally reminds me of pig manure and it's totally a odor that can take your breath away. Good thing it goes away in a few days. I'll keep everyone updated if everything goes belly up. Stay tuned, I have another batch fermenting and I'm testing out some comfrey tea as well.
Peace,
Nate

I've never used Nettle tea, Nathan, but I do use alfalfa tea that I make from alfalfa pellets bought at a feed store. It, too, STINKS to high heaven - and please, DO NOT get any on you when using, but it really does a good job of adding nutrients, and the plants I used it on early in the Spring before all the rains started are looking better than those I did not get to feritlize with it. Keep us posted as this is an interesting experiment for me to follow.

Just as an update a few days later. Everything is still alive and well, although I had the fortune of a well placed saturating rain about two days after using the tea. Plenty of buds developing on my all sorts of plants, its amazing how fast things can grow once it starts to get hot out. My Blue River II Hardy Hibsicus had to have put on least 8" of stem over the weekend; its an established plant that hadn't even bothered breaking the surface until about two weeks ago. I decided to clean up my comfrey patch today and did the same procedure as with nettles. I'll be using that in a few weeks when its ready. If anything does go belly up I'll post.
Peace,
Nate

I've never used nettle tea but I have made alfalfa and compost tea. They both stink but the plants seem to like it.

I have used manure tea and the brugs do love it. I havent used it on datura because I read somewhere that datura could get a root fungus from manures. So they just get the reg fert. I copied down that recipe that was posted somewhere for the alfalfa tea -I really need to try that.

What is stinging nettle tea? and how do you make it? lol @ pig manure smell- well its gotta work then lol.
I use the alaska fish fert and it looks and smells like well.. kaka lol! My dh had a fit because the bottle leaked in the garage and he had to smell it for a week lol!
