First Blossom

I got my first blossom today. To bad it came in the mail on Day Dreams. I have Brenda Delph at Seedsprout to thank for it. To bad both the blossom and buds fell off during transport. But at least I know what it will look like later this year.
Thank you everyone for your encouragement. I can't wait to exchange cuttings now. And thank you Patrick for the beautiful Brugmansia and your support. I've found a couple more "Y"s since you pointed them out. P.S. I've only gotten 5 more plants since you left.

Congratulations. You seem to be having fun with your new addiction! (Another one bites the dust :D)
My brugs buds usually fall off in the mail too. Even in the winter. My daydreams came with 3-4 buds and all fell off but one which I let bloom only because I wanted to see it soo bad lol. Otherwise I usually pull them off to reduce stress to the plant while I repot etc.
It is pretty hot here now so I have to do whatever I can to help the plant adjust. I just got Jamie's Monkey Business and I took off all the buds it came with and its doing great.

Oh boy, Jodi, your hooked...You'd better make some room around there - it's not going to stop with Daydreams... you're going to want more and more and more brugs!
