Do your brugs all flush at the same time?

I have about 20 large many-times Y'd brugs, and right now I have no color! They all seem to flush at the same time, though they are not all the same size/age/type. I have a TON of buds on my older brugs...the adolescents... even the potted cuttings - but NO FLOWERS!

If the weather holds out, I'm gonna have one grand brug finale - all the new and older brugs blooming at the same time...

Is this normal?

All my established brugs just shared a big flush, along with several of my cuttings from last fall. This all began with the full moon and ran into the next weet. A few other cuttings are now bringing up the rear. If I have reasonably good weather between now and the end of Oct, I can hope for one more good flush from many of them - it will be interesting to see whether they tend to flush simultaeously again.

My larger brugs seem to bloom around the same time. The smaller plants with just a few blooms open at different times. Patrick I'm also hoping for one more flush from many of my plants. For some it will be their first flowers of the year!

I think this will be the last hurrah for me. The end of October is too cold here, Patrick, so this will be it.

I'm especially excited because I have a couple of seedlings from last year that I've never seen the flowers on.

I just hope the weather holds - it's supposed to be 40 degrees one of these nights...

If I could hold off a frost for about three or four weeks, I would have a ton of brug blooms. It seems like everything started setting buds as soon as the hot weather changed to much cooler temps. Of course, that means that the deep color won't be there if they get to bloom, but right now, we have been so deprived of blooms, that I don't care if there is deep color or not. Just having blooms would be more than welcome. I may move them in and out of the garages to get some of those blooms. It won't help the 80 + that are in the ground tho.

Shirley, we're expecting frost Sunday night, so I'll be covering my in-the-ground brugs and doing the same as you - trucking the potted ones in and out so that I will see this last flush.

I hope the weather holds for a little while. I would love to see all the beautiful pictures of all these brugs.

My established ones that are older do pretty well about blooming and at times have many flowers and other times may get 3-4-6 blooms, but have a bunch of buds growing for larger flush.some of my cuttings have bloomed, others have 'y'd and drop buds and some have not y'd yet& have I think a dozen or so that have not 'y'd yet(a pair of Martha Stewert/A pair of Rosa Turaum/versicolor peach/1 versicolor orange/sunray/Creamsickle/super nova/2 Tropical sunset/butterfly/milk N honey/Knightti/Cypress Gardens.
Mine can keep going till near end of November.I get excited just to barely drop below 70 at night right now.
