Finally some blooms

Some of my smaller brugs are blooming again. My Maya, another Creamsickle that has normal flowers and the Milk n Honey is finally tall enough that the flowers aren't hitting the container. There's a couple iochroma pics too. My big brugs are being such teases, loaded with buds but taking their sweet time to open. Our nighttime temps are now very cool (50's) and I guess it's slowing them down.

Last week I would have given my eye teeth for a couple of nights to have been in the 50's. We had to turn the furnace on.

Nice pictures. My Rothkirch has quite a few blooms right now and Rosalie is doing okay, but I haven't had anything other than Maya and Painted Lady give me the good old true flush. Rubirosa came close.

Shirley, I haven't had any luck with my Rothkirch...hasn't bloomed at all this summer and the plant is staying pretty small. May leave it til spring and see if it blooms this summer. Guinivere and Gartenzauber X Rose Beauty are acting the same way. Guinivere is even tinier.

Rothkirch should like your warm weather. Mine must be 8 ft. tall now including the height of the pot. Gartenzauber x Rose Beauty and Guinivere are both just average height, tho I don't have them this year and wonder how they would have grown in our extreme heat and drought this summer. I do remember that I had them both under a tree and only getting morning sun.
