Hello all,
Been out of the loop for a couple of months, vacationing in Mexico. On my way back & just checking to see if anyone will have cuttings or seeds of sang or arborea for trade this year. I know this should be on the exchange lists, but I'm still working on mine, apologies.

Thanks, John

Wish I could help, but I can't grow sangs and my arborea was so slow this year that when it was ready with ONE bud, the wind broke the whole branch off.

I'm sorry to here about your arborea,Shirley. That's a real bummer.
Ok, Tom, My lists are up. I'm afraid I don't have much right now, most of the plants I had are still floating around Oregon. I did notice that you want sanguineas that aren't red. Do you have any yellows yet? I'm working on getting a solid yellow right & can likely get several cuttings. I had Culebra but she just diedhttp://www.network54.com/Realm/Bobky/unhappy.gif . So let me know what you want to do.
Do you have any suggestions for rooting arborea?

Hi John, I'll send you an email on the trade, we'll work something out. I don't have cuttings or seed right now, but I do have a young plant I can trade.
Cuttings are tough with the arboreas. They grow fast & hot, almost like a Datura. So the trunks are a little softer and less likely to give you that good hardwood with nubbies that root so well in other brugs.
They grow so fast I think it's just as quick to start them from seed. They do come true from seed with very little variation.
