Question about Tropical Sunset

I received a cutting this past spring that was untagged. I emailed the sender and asked her if she remembered what she sent me and she said it was a Tropical Sunset. But it doesn't really look like any pictures of Tropical Sunset I've been able to dig up. I know I'm getting old and my eyes are getting worse every year, but this looks pink to me so I've been calling it my NOID pink -- Anyone grow Tropical Sunset? And if so, I just want to know if this is, or isn't it.

Thanks.

It does not look like the one sent to me as Tropical Sunset, Suzie. When it bloomed, it was more of an orangey color --- I will see if I can find photos of it.

Judy: I'm actually thrilled with it. The plant is huge and has been gorgeous. At the time, I had nothing so I was excited to get cuttings of anything. It was just a total shock when it bloomed and it was pink instead of the yellow I was expecting. I just wanted to make positively sure that this wasn't Tropical Sunset so I decided to ask the experts. Thanks for your help.

That doesn't look anything like my TS. Mine is an orange and yellow color. That's very pretty though.

LOL...one of the problems that happens with purchases and trades from time to time. Tropical Sunset was a slow bloomer for me, so you may very well be happier with what you have anyway.

My brug was labeled pink brug and I love pink so I bought it. When the flower first started coming out it was yellow, then later that night it turned almost white, then the next morning had a pink skirt. I just love it too but I was confused with all the color changes, lol. Yours is very pretty.

I received a cutting about a year and a half ago that was supposed to be Ecuador Pink but it turned out to be a beautiful snow white with lovely tendrils. Now it's one of my favorite NOIDS.
