Ive read everything I can find on brugs and am out of things to read. I love to read and learn and I don't feel like I'm finished with this topic. Anyone have any good links to share?

Have you read everything at ABADS or visited some of the European brug growers sites, just to look? Without joining another site, I can't think of anyplace where you could find anymore information than there is right here. I wish I could show you all the magazine that ABADS publishes for it's members with all of the newest cultivars in it. Wow....now that makes room for wishful thinking. Both ABADS and BGI have nice galleries and I've been known to spend a lot of time at one of them studying the blooms. Daves Garden has a ton of threads with great pictures from back in about 2001 or 2002 up to now. There are lots of different things at DG, but no real experts for the brug forum anymore. If I run across anything new and exciting, I'll sure post it.

Was going to suggest some of the same sites that Shirley mentioned. ABADS and BGI are the best for most growing information and other details about brugs. Of course, in this forum, there's a ton of good info for you to use.

I have been reading the old posts here and love it but I've almost read them all! Also everything that I have access to on the BGI and ABADS and DG ... as well as old posts from GW. I've read descriptions in all the catalogs and vendor sites, and any articles that mentions brugs or angel trumpets. LOL. I guess I'm just a regular little bookworm... better than I guess than a tomato hornworm!

My favorites are the reviews of the varieties and different folks experiences with them and the pictures - like the one thread at BGI. http://forums.brugmansia.us/viewforum.php?f=14 If anyone here ever gets bored and has nothing to do, I'd love to read your notes and any thoughts you care to document. I have so many questions and am trying to plan for spring. Which varieties stay small? Which tolerate more sun than others? Which need less water than others? Which are finicky and need to be pampered or given special conditions? Which do well in total shade? Those kinds of things. Thanks for putting up with this newbie with the curious nature...

Check your local library. They may have some good books on the subject.

Have you read Brugmansia and Datura by Ulrike and Hans-Georg Preissel? And also Engelstrompeten by Monika Gottschalk (German with English translation booklet)?

I have checked my library and they don't have anything on them at all. Tom, I haven't read those but have been searching for them on Froogle and Amazon and ebay. As soon as I find a used copy (im a cheapskate) thats not going to cost me more than the book is worth in shipping, Im going to get them. Thanks folks. Please keep the ideas coming - I'm open to them.

I've decided I'm going to put these 2 books on my Christmas wish list. Maybe one of my children will get them for me.
