You should try this!
Sure to bring smiles from your guests!
Here is a new way to prepare your Thanksgiving Turkey.
1. Cut out aluminum foil in desired shapes.
2. Arrange the turkey in the roasting pan, position the foil carefully. (see attached picture for suggestions/details)
3. Roast according to your own recipe and serve.
4. Watch your guests' faces...
>May your stuffing be tasty
>May your turkey plump,
>May your potatoes and gravy
>Have never a lump.
>May your yams be delicious
>And your pies take the prize,
>And may your Thanksgiving dinner
>Stay off your thighs!
That's too cute. I just might have to try to make a bird in a bikini. lol I hope everyone has a great holiday. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite. Now to figure out what to do with the plants and seeds so I can get 15 people in the dining room.

Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you. I will be in Port Aransas for a week beginning the 18th with no internet access --- so don't know when I will post again. Hope everyone is surrounded by family, loved ones and friends --- a very special time of the year !!!!
That is adorable and funny! Thanks for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thanks for being wonderful people that you guys are ! Be safe and have fun.. eat lots!
LOL, the turkey looks like she went to the beach and fell asleep in the sun.
If you have an especially large get-together, you could make a second turkey but leave the top off for a guy in a speedo.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Personally...I'm glad it's over. I'm tired of cooking, cleaning, and noise. We are both enjoying the quiet and the leftovers now. Today will finish the food off. It's always fun to have family come to visit, but there is nothing like the quiet when they leave. Maybe if our home was larger, it would help. LOL! Next we embark upon the Christmas holidays and all it holds for us. I hope you are all better prepared than I am as I've not bought one gift yet. The whole bunch will be here for Christmas so I better stay off the forums and get some work done. Happy Holidays.
Well, Shirley, you and I are about equal when it comes to buying gifts, I plan on starting---tomorrow!
And as for leftovers, we each (just 2 of us) had a cornish game hen, and there were no leftovers!!
Good thinking, Selma. I like the idea of cornish hens. The kids and grands did a pretty good job of cleaning things up in two meals. I can't complain. They left the house in good shape and the dishes done except for a few things in the dishwasher, so it was pretty easy to sit back and relax after they left.
