Heat Lovin' Brugs?

Weather here has been cold (for this this area) and rainy. A temporary situation. Soon we'll be back to our usual 80sF + temps. So am dreaming of those warmer times, and recalling how some of my valient Brugs suffered thru the hot, arid summer, here. Wondering if there are any sources for info. about which Brugs can tolerate hot weather better than others. I would find this very useful data to help me in my quest for Brugs I think I can't live without!!

Yeah, me too! besides high temperatures (averages 25 deg celsius at night!!), humidity is also high (75RH and above).

What had done well for me are:

a) A suaveolen pink (very vigorous although it is also a spider mite magnet)
b) A complex Peach with prominent versicolor genes
c) Super Nova (grew huge and totally ignored temp factors)

What didn't do well for me:

a) A pure versicolor orange/peach (from Panama)

I agree. Super Nova is a happy Brug! She does well for me, too. Blooms in the heat and keeps on growing. She doesn't seem to slow down when she blooms. Your humidity must be horrible. My problem is the opposite ... too dry. Right now we have had some rain, problem is it all comes at once and the ground cannot soak it up; in addition we have mudslides from the denuded hills as a result of the wild fires we've just experienced! Got to luv Cali.
