I know different Brugs require different outside environments. Is there a resource to study up on? Or are you brug enthusiasts going to list some names/growing conditions?LOL

I really think it depends on where you live as to how you treat your brugs to sun or not. Most brugs will do very well with morning sun and afternoon shade. There are some that will do well for me with all day sun and many won't, especially when it gets into the mid to upper nineties. Safety generally wins out here and most go into partial shade. Maya, Bad Angel, Rubirosa, Day Dreams, and Painted Lady can handle our heat and full sun. I think you just have to find someone who has had experience with brugs in your zone or grow them in pots so you can test them out.

In the past I had Charles Grimaldi, Dr. Suess, and Butterfly in full sun too.

The only two that have done well for me in "full" (and that sometimes requires a little shading) sun are Charles Grimaldi and Dr. Seuss. I don't feel qualified to try to answer your question as my growing conditions are so very different to yours. I like Shirley's suggestion of growing them in containers, and moving them to where they do the best.

I don't have a choice. The only space available is a west facing location with (sometimes) blazing afternoon sun. I live almost on the equator and you can imagine that nights aren't going to be cool to offset the heat of the day. There, I plonked my Frosty Pink. Grew tall and fast and picked up spider mites equally well! But it flowered, and continues to flower well.

I'm a little colder than you but not that much. I find that water is more of the issue for me. If I can keep them moist I can grow my various noids in full sun or half day sun. I use lots of compost and manure when planting, compost helps hold water and manure is great fertilizer. This coming year I am adding several named brugs that Patrick gave me. I hope they do as well as the noids I have. I have only grown 3 named varieties in the past Sunset, Inca Gold and Jean Pasco. All have done well in pots that get moved to the deck while they are blooming. They will be in the ground this coming summer.
Good luck with your large collection. I look forward to pictures.
