Loads of buds on my Double Yellow Dartura

My Datura is blooming like crazy!! I love the color and the double bloom, but the flowers do have am odd smell to them. A little funky?? Do you know what I mean???

That is a very pretty flower! Looks like a triple.
I grew them 2 years ago & mine had no smell -- at least I couldn't smell them.

Pretty flowers, if it ever stops raining I will go out and smell mine. They are not near the house so I can't say I have noticed any fragrance.

You really have to stick your snoz (sp) in the bloom, but it just smells, moldy maybe?

That's what's so nice about Datura, they flower in the hot season when Brugs do not, the Brugs take over in the cool when the Datura slow down.
To be honest, I have never noticed a real 'wafting' fragrance from my Datura either but sometimes I can smell my Brugs that are in the back yard when I pull into the driveway at night.
