I'm finally growing out a few of the Tall Russian Red canna seeds you gave me...they're doing very well - I may even get a few flowers this year. Two of the plants have red/purple leaves and the 3rd has wider green leaves with a red margin.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.I've fineally popped back in. I tried gpoing to the clevland speedway 105 for my birthday.some bright person at the track thought even though we'd had RAIN all week that the track still needed 5 trucks of water added to it.but the grader and cars could not stay on the track.so race called off after driveing 70 miles....stopped at walmart trying to beat rain on way Home.
Patrick-Your canna has just fineally bloomed for me this year.Thats awesome that you got a different canna from the seeds.Keep me posted on what that one does.I have a green leafed canna with red edges with orange flowers gets tall too,but its not a seed setter.My russian reds are just starting to flower which is about normal for me.Even the one that went in GH waited.
