Possible disease question

Hi everyone its been a while since I have visited but I have a couple of pics I would like to show you and ask if you think it might be a disease or virus or on the one just rot. I used a new potting soil on that one and It looked wonderfully healthy until I picked it up and noticed how wet the potting soil was and the trunk is hollow nearly all the way through. I cut off the top portions to re root but I thought it best to ask before I put them in with the others for the winter. The other two pics are of Michelle's that she ask me to get your opinion about. They look very corky but no black ring so she was wondering if it is something bad. Mine has new growth coming from the roots as well. I don't know if I should repot it or throw the whole thing away. Mine is Mango Love and hers is Ambrosia.

Looks like the top of yours died, maybe you had it too wet but you have new growth from the bottom that looks OK so far.

Your friend's looks like it was too much rain or water. Keep an eye on them but they should be fine.

Thanks Linda. The top part above that rotten looking was so healthy I would have never known until I saw it so I cut that and rerooted it. I thought I remembered seeing a pic on here with the corky look and someone said it wasn't anything to worry about. Thanks.
