Other than CG, what do you think is most florific? Best double?

Hello all, it's been a while. My Brugs are all Scragly looking, from me not giving them the attn that they deserve. CG, for me is nearly forever blooming, if I feed, and water him like I should.

What others, if any, are constantly blooming?

What's the most florific double?

I'm going to get rid of some of my less florific ones for more interesting ones. I've lost the name tags, so I don't know what's what except for a few. I don't have any doubles, so I thought that might be a nice addition too.

Hi Rick, I know my Eternity is a very good bloomer for me. It seems to take the heat pretty well but I give it lots of afternoon shade. It is one of my favorites. It gets a very deep color for me here in TX. I think I have an extra cutting rooting if you'd like I can send you one in the spring just let me know. The only double I got blooms from this year was my Daydreams . It was pretty small but gave me 3 or 4 blooms which for its size I thought was really good.

wow, that would be awesome. I'm redoing the garden/yard now, but I'll leave space for it. Does it bloom flush after flush like CG? Do you have any Variegated brugs? I have 1, bu it's a real s l o w grower. It has not flowered in 2 yrs growing. It's in the shade now. I'm going to give it more sun.

Dr. Seuss probably blooms at least as well as CG...and may be more fragrant. CG is one of Dr. Seuss' progeny.

I hesitate to suggest any others that are heavy bloomers, as I think performance may well be affected by climate, so what blooms great here may not do the same where you live.

I haven't had doubles for long, but Day Dreams and Gemini both bloomed well for me this past season. So far, Day Dreams is becoming one of my all-time favorites...when I get the collection down to 50, it will be high on my list. I'm anxious to see what New Orleans Lady does for me next summer. Ditto Adeline.

Rick just remind me around March and I can send it out to you. I'll set it aside to make sure it doesn't get planted in the spring, lol. You will have to make sure to remind me though because I can almost guarantee I will forget. Or if your weather is okay just email me your address and I can send it to you first thing next week. The weather here has been weird, 50's one day and 80's the next. I can send it to you for cost of postage or if you have any brugs other than CG that you can trade let me know.

Ya know, I really messed up. I cannot find where I wrote down what var was planted where!!!! I know the one is CG, Sauv, Cypress Gardens, Unk Pink (treeform), and another is Creme Parfait. Beyond that, I'll have to match them up when they bloom, and then for some I'll still not be sure.
