How nice, Allison! I have yet to get my plants to the stage where they can start buds, let alone bloom! (And of course, having the puppy chew off the biggest limb didn't help). I heard last night, that one of my friends, who has a cutting from my NOID pink, had a bloom already this year! But she has a lovely sunporch where her plant is, and it gets all sorts of summer light. [linked image]

Congrats, Allison! I'm about 2-3 weeks away from my first blooms - how did you get yours blooming so early?

They didn't die back very much this last winter.  And the weather has been good this year.

Ditto here...but still not blooming! lol
I will be patient...I'm still busy up-potting some of the brugs and putting them in their summer placement. I have so many big black plastic pots in the backyard - it's starting to look like a nursery.

I get so excited anytime I see a new bud open, even if the plant is already full of blooms. Congrats to you Allison.

Woo Hoo! L'Amour has a bud opening, with a few more following close behind. Many of the others have buds, but mostly about 2 weeks away from opening. It looks like the "season" is getting under way. My Arborea had a bloom open for about a week, but it finished up a few days ago.

Ahhh....the heavenly fragance has returned! L'Amour has her bud open this evening & there is perfume on the breeze. One of my seedling plants has a bud that should fully open tomorrow or the next day....big tall plant. I have several seedlings from that cross...they tend to throw white blooms, but one that bloomed last fall is a nice double.
