Oh come on, wouldn't you like to partake in just one snowman building afternoon? We are suppose to get it (snow) tonight with no accumulation.

1-3" at higher elevations tonight (I'm near the lower higher end). DH saw some that didn't stick last night when he was rescuing kids after their car wouldn't start.

Ludgers Windsong is blooming in my bathroom. 8 flowers open [linked image]

I hope our cool/cold air didn't make it that far south. My computer says it is 48 here right now and it's supposed to make it into the low sixties tomorrow. Maybe the last of the outside work will finally get done.

Rain mixed with snow the next couple days then it's supposed to warm up. If all this would have just waited another week, I would have seen most of the big buds open.[linked image] The 2 bloomers in my bathroom do smell really good in the evenings so I get to enjoy them a little bit.

I know Linda, I was 1/2 way through my third flush on all mine and had to cut them all off just to fit them inside. The only ones I ended up with a couple of buds on were Golden Lady and Exotica in the GH. Now after 4 nights with heaters on, they could all come back out ( not in this lifetime LOL) and finish their blooming if they had any.
Nest door they still have theirs out but they are right beside their house so a bit protected and they are fine. Besides, they like know I am right here and bring mine in so they always have a resource to replace theirs if they get killed by frost freezing. They only have 3 to bring in too!

I think we had all better tighten our seat belts for a very "different" winter. Right now, my brugs are prettier than they have been all year ....Dr. Seuss has probably at least 200 blooms open and it is so fragrant at night. I finally got 7 open on New Orleans Lady, and what a beauty she is. The remainder of them have from 10 to 20 blooms open, and for the first time this season, I am really enjoying them.......hopefully, for another month.
