Just wanted to let those of you who know me and my little tdog that Flower Bandit Tifanny went into cardiac arrest this evening at the vet hospital and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I am heartbroken, numb, in shock, and sad...I had gone to visit her and take her her eyedrops as she'd had a tough morning after chemo yesterday. She lived with Lymphoma (cancer) for eight months and was a trooper and fought valiantly until the end, with nary a complaint.
Tifanny is the one who started me on raising butterflies...as one day she was following a Gulf Fritillary in the backyard. She will forever be my butterfly dog.
I love my pets also, so can feel your pain just a bit now. I also believe in animal angels. But perhaps she was an angel all along and came to earth to teach you. God bless all the four-legged creatures that brighten our lives and teach us so much!
Sorry for your loss Sherry.
Tiffany brought many smiles to people she never met and I hope that by knowing how much pleasure you shared when you posted her photo's will help ease the pain in your heart.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm so attached to all my furbabies, I just don't know what I'll do when they pass. I already know it's going to be so painful. I'm attaching a link for you to view. It has some good words to read once you get beyond the photos. You may not be able to read them now, but try at some point... maybe when you just need a good cry anyway, because it will bring the tears. This was designed by a young guy (I think he might have been in college) from a photography website I visit... it was in memory of his dog who passed away a few months ago. I kept it as it was just so touching. I know he wouldn't mind me sharing. Hope it all helps to eventually ease the pain.
Well, Guardian Angel Tifanny has not only been sending butterflies to everyone (I cannot believe how many butterflies I'm seeing now-we were all just complaining not so long ago about the LACK of butterflies) but others have been emailing me that they are ALSO seeing butterflies and SWEAR it must be because of T. She also has sent a little Beach Angel to us...her name is Chelsea.
