My source for identifying the few that I can is this little book I found at the Cali zoo (has a lovely butterfly garden by the way). It covers the central of Colombia´s three mountain ranges but most happen to be in mine, the western range, as well.

Just thank you judgfully. That's a Wht Peacock. Found upto FLorida. THe Lept on cover is incredible. The blue on is trypical I suppose for SA. The buckeye in Brazil has a patch blue too. Do you grow fig trees? They (daggerwing)use it for larvae.

Wow I love your White Peacock ! I have seen the with a bluer hue to them but these are even better !
