What a great close-up!!!
Only very occassionally do I get pics that are clear enough to crop and blow-up without it being blurry. Well, the butterfly was in perfect condition as far as I can see...maybe it's shadowing due to it's wings being askew, considering the inside of the wings are a darker color than white...blue in the inside and that pic was taken in shade (my shadow) intentionally because since it was a bright sunny day, many of my pics become over-exposed. I was lucky with the following 2 pics. As you can see, with the same butterfly facing both directions, both of it's wings are just fine
I was very lucky with the exposure on this pic too...a white butterfly on a white Salvia
And on Milkweed...
