Just wondered if anyone knows the wherebouts of the above pony. She is a grey (probably quite light grey now) 10 year old New Forest mare approx 13hh. We bred her and subsequently sold her as a 4 yr old. We saw her about 3 maybe 4 years ago at Burley Villa as a school pony, but apparently they sold her. I dont even know if her owners realise she is a registered New Forest Pony as have doubts her registration details were kept with her.

Would just like to know where she is and what she is doing!!

My daugther used to ride at Burley villa up to 4 1/2 years ago so knew Lucy, she also went back to do her work experience in the summer but Lucy had been sold on by then. She did ask about her but wasnt told where she had gone, only that she wasnt suited to being a riding school pony forever. I know the lady who probably bought Lucy from you and unfortunately had to sell her on, she moved away but is now back in Hampshire again and would love to know her whereabouts too

Thanks for your message. Yes, that was what we were told at Burley Villa when I went to a Showjumping Show there and my young son (whose pony she was) went to see her. Having seen here the previous year he was disappointed they had sold her as apparently she was a bit too strong for the riding school. If we find out where she is, I will certainly let Laura know, as I know she thought a lot of her. Hopefully we will get some news!
