Hi to everyone. I am taking a stab in the dark and trying to find out about my pony, Rusty’s past history. He is a 12.2 hh chestnut gelding. I had no paperwork when we got him so I have no information about his history or breeding, but it is viewed by a few people that he may well be new forest by his characteristics etc. I was contacted earlier this year by a lady who said she thought he may have previously been owned by her. She had posted on this site asking for information about a gelding called rusty. I emailed her with specific details to try to identify him and pictures, but she never contacted me again.
I would love to find out about his past history if I could. I got him 10 years ago in June, from a stables in Huntingdon which I think was just called Manor Farm. It lies very close to the A14. He was just six years old when I got him. I think his pervious owners name was Linda, she had two girls; a 14 year old who had outgrown him and a 3 year old.
