Woo Hoo!! They're still here!!! What's even funnier is the male stands guard over his wifie either right beside her or on top our fence directly overhead.

Maybe it has something to do with Mother's Day!!!!!

Has anyone ever noticed that old WWII movies often have calling California Quail. Nothing like a bombed out French village with them calling from the bushes.

Looks like they did not make it this year. So far no quail.....

Makes one really appreciate what visitors we DO get.....

He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! But in my neighbor's yard 4 doors down. (They're redoing their yard.)
