Maybe be too much for you though!


This Blue Crowned Motmot flew in to my 'vivero' and decided to have a rest on my plant bags. I saved this one for my friend, but unfortunately all the other 'Motmot' photo files went down with my old computer! I have a few new ones, but they are not worth sharing.


The handsome male, is our resident 'cock o'the tropics' and he lets us know this, every morning!

i noticed the motmot has what appear to be teeth or something similar...whats up with that?

Looks like the beak is serrated which would be good for holding on the wiggling beetles. Have the same mot mot here.

The bill is serrated but there is no mention of that in my bird books.
