ID help....

Looks like a Western Kingbird (same size and coloring) without the white outer tail feather. He's singing his love song right now and it's driving me nuts not knowing who he is.

Urgh....I'm sorry to waste your time everyone! I think my culprit was a Great-crested Flycatcher. His coloring was off in the dusky sunlight and I wasn't used to this particular call of his. Thanks for taking the time to peruse my question!

Hey Kristy, looks like you answered your own question on the id but someday it could really be something like a Western Kingbird, you just never know and it pays to be always looking! ... For 2 straight winters there has been a Tropical Kingbird in a park just a few blocks from where I do a lot of my birdwatching...now I make it a point to visit that park during the winter, maybe someday I'll get lucky...
