Day two brought a beautiful Rose-breasted Grosbeak to our campsite!!

and yet another very tame chipmunk in my husbands hand!!

As we went for another drive we came across 5 or 6 cars pulled over on the side of the road and looked off into the distance there was another cow and calf on the other side of a very large pond or small lake!!

We pulled out the teleconverter lens and zoomed in on them!! All the bugs are driving them out of the woods. Poor things. We saw another Cow Moose this same night but it was too dark to get a picture. 5 Moose in two days is pretty darn lucky!

Day 3 on our adventures we encoutered a deer down in a valley on one of the backroads!!

A Great Blue Heron fishing.....

and one of the smallest baby bunnies I have ever seen on the side of the road. Look at the size of the pine needles in comparison!!

That was the end of our trip as we packed up the next morning and headed home. What a breathtaking, amazing park to have the pleasure of visiting!! Lorena

Great shots Now I know where all the rose breasted grossbeack went I saw them flying north in late March.

That bunny is adorable! It almost loooks like a dwarf rabbit with those tiny ears.
