First I just saw two pileated woodpeckers just a mile and a half fom where I live! They flew to a large tree at an apartment complex across the street from Borders in Wynnewood How cool is that!!!
Also last thursday night when my son came home from hockey he called me outside. He said "mom one of your friends is outside" I went outside and heard a screech owl. I hope that's a good thing. I fear it might be because a neighbor chopped a weeping cherry tree down and maybe his or her home was in that tree I hope I'm wrong I never heard a screech owl in my neighborhood before.
