Need ID Help

Tash and I finally got to go birding together for the first time in months. I had forgotten how much I enjoy it. We came across several birds by the Convention Center on SPI (surprising because it was Bikefest and thousands of motorbikes revving engines did not give us hope). We need help with this ID. Sorry for poor picture quality but boy did this guy/gal move fast. Probably trying to escape the bikes!

Thanks,

Tagary,

Hi Gary! I haven't seen one of these in a long time...LONG time. American Redstarts are very hard to photograph...in my personal opinion. They've always wound up as black and orange blurs!

Yep, an American Redstart. You can usually pish them in, they're intensely curious about everything.
