I have seen small groups of Canada geese fly over the house for a couple of weeks and wondered where the snow geese were,as they have been coming first most years. Well today I finally heard and saw a large group of Canada geese fly over. All is well. Soon they will be all over the area in large numbers. Now if the farmers would get the cornfields cut,the birds would have some easy food. We have had heavy frost the last 2 nights,so it is definitely corn harvest time.

Good to now thanks Nancy. Around my house some canada geese fly low and are quite loud. But the snow geese are way high up and I don't hear them.
