This is kind of strange. I last saw this bird in my yard on October 30, 2005 and it stayed for a week. It was about seven hundred meters below itīs published altitude range. It returned yesterday about a week later than the first visit and has been hanging out at Abutelon about five meters from where it hung out in 2003. So some things I donīt know are: is it the same bird and has it returned in the intervening years and I just didnīt see it and is some kind of altitude migration going on?

Who knows. Maybe people don't know everything about this species. What a beauty.
