Thanks Helen and Kenn
Our family has expanded to over 50...WooHoo! Both long feeders have 18 perches...all filled, there is one on the post (mostly cut off at the top right), 3 or 4 in the tray with a male House Finch and one in flight toward the bottom...lol...and that doesn't include about 10 in the neighbor's tree!
Guess I'll have to get the sock feeder back out. The other yellow feeder is now on another pole. That had 6 on it when I took this pic...

Wow....Looks like you're going to have to start taking "reservations" I like the style of that feeder (left one) in the first picture. I have not seen any like that before. Would definetly consider getting one. Where did you get yours?
I have a couple of feeders like this that can hold 20-30 birds each if they're in a sharing mood - I like them better than the ones with specific holes because they don't clog up:
That's a great feeder too! I put it on my fav's list in my "feeder" folder. I'll look around here for it and maybe I'll get rid of the sock and replace it with that. I like all the other feeders we have too...they're fun to watch the finches play "musical chairs" on the tall ones...hehehe. As for the seeds clumping/sticking...haven't had any problems in that regard. I still vaccum the shells under the feeders once a week...lol
Thanks again for the link...I'm sure others will want to get it too!

Great Family you have there Susan. The strange thing for me though is during the winter months the GF's tend to eat the shelled sunflower instead of the niger. I thougt it was for more protein. Go figure! Can't wait to see them all when they have their spring feathers!!
Thanks...I agree about seeing them all with their Spring coats on! That would be so cool to see that much bright yellow at the feeders before they go their separate ways...

WOW reminds me of my first year hosting goldies. I had a good number of them for about two years or so and for the last three I haven't seen but maybe a few . My pockets are happier but I am not LOL
