Looks like a Song Sparrow.

It's a Lincoln's Sparrow - note the buffy chest wash, and the gray stripe over the eye (it's a very gray looking head in general). A SOSP would not have the buffy wash and would have a lighter looking head.

It is hard to believe, since most of us live where Song Sparrows are common, but down toward the Rio Grande Valley Song Sparrows are pretty scarce. Lincoln's Sparrows in winter are fairly common and much easier to find. To my mind Lincoln's Sparrows are far prettier than the fanciest Song Sparrow subspecies. Nice photo, because they can really skulk.
