Wow there sure are a lot of different doves in Barbados and being a small island I saw several new ones. I also so the Eared Dove they were a little smaller and didn't have such a vibrant color on the neck. OK one of these is a pigeon but still happy.gif

Pigeon, dove - it literally is just a matter of size and semantics. We tend to call the big ones pigeons and the little ones doves (but not always - our pigeons are really Rock DOves), but they're all in the same group. Nice lifers and I love Zenaida Doves!

Frank,

Hmmm.... let me think here. In the last 10 years. In no order:

Germany
Great Britain
Spain
Czech Republic
Italy
France
Switzerland
Belgium
Denmark
Holland
Greece
Canda
Mexico
El Salvador (overnight)
Costa Rica
Argentina
Barbados
Urguay
Fiji
Austalia
New Zealand
Hong Kong
Japan
Puerto Rico (though that is technically the US)
Cayman Islands

I think that is it but I could be missing some
