Jill may especially like this.(Maine, Not Vermont..but close)

COLD IS A RELATIVE THING. .

Floridians turn on the heat.
People in Vermont plant gardens.

35 above zero:
New York landlords finally turn up the heat.
People in Vermont have the last cookout before it gets
cold.

20 above Zero
People in Miami all die.
Vermonters close the windows.

People in Vermont get out their winter coats.

10 below zero:
Hollywood disintegrates.
The Girl Scouts in Vermont are selling cookies door to
door.

20 below zero:
Washington DC runs out of hot air.
People in Vermont let the dogs sleep indoors.

I sure did like it - I laughed out loud! I may not be as tough as a Vermonter, but I know I have to take my hat off when it hits 20° and it's sunny, or I'll overheat! And 50° is shorts weather (at least those first few days in the spring...)

LOL! This is so funny because last weekend it was probably just about -10º and there WAS a girlscout going door to door selling cookies!

This could very well be written about MN! Thanks for sharing!

Funny one, Alice!

Although it did take a long time to get to school and back home today, I do like winter.

Most amusing,Alice. And very typical.I live across Lake Champlain from northern Vermont, and it all pertains to this area too.(I did wear a hat this morning).
