Male Green KingFisher from Mexico Trip

This was really a lucky catch. You all know how elusive and very FAST a Kingfisher is. He flew past us during the lagoona trip, and I just tried to follow him and he slipped into the trees and I took a shot.

Yes it was a life bird DW. We saw Ringed, Belted and Green Kingfisher during that 4 hour trip!

We had a total of 59 birds on the trip and about 22 were new for me. I don't really keep a list, well not until this trip! We also lucked out and saw White Fronted Parrots, which was a real treat for a parrot lover like me!
