Very nice! This winter/spring was sort of strange in which I didn't see many waxwings at all.

I like your birdbath. I have never thought of putting one on my deck rails like that.

Thanks, Ladies!

Alice, we have had a pretty cool spring so far. We had a late snowfall, albeit it it didn't amount to much. But we had several 60+º days in March which fooled many people into thinking spring was here. You know how that goes. How's your spring been so far?

Patti, our backyard is small but wooded and the deck is huge so it blocks a good portion of it. The bath on the railing gives me a great view of the birds. It all started with leftover pie tins and we went up in quality from there! LOL

Here's where it all started...

Hi Kristi,

Very nice pictures. I wish we could see more of them here but it is hit and miss during migration. I shall console myself with the usual HOSPs, RWBB, all kindsa doves... and a beer to keep myself from crying too much [linked image]

Kristy, I also have a very wooded backyard. I'm going to try the bird bath on the rails tomorrow and see if I have any takers. Thanks for sharing your pictures!
