Where have my male hummers gone

In the spring, I had 4 pairs of hummers. Now, I seem to have a couple of females only. No males at all.
Why do they leave? I use and clean my 2 feeders, and have flowers that attract them to the cottage which is in Ontario, near Hunstville.
We had lots until 2 years ago when the spring was very cold and wet. Now, they just don't stay.
Why is that?
