Worth the effort

Although this is taken from a cell phone camera in a moving car and it's raining outside, I like the capture. The momma and the papa sandhill cranes are eating with their two babies in a very small oasis between a 7-11, a Dairy Queen, and a Home Depot parking lot. They are especially wary of people with the babies so I couldn't get any closer. The babies are very cute. Between the trees is an apartment complex. The picture makes it look lush, but it's not. Amazing sight in the middle of the concrete jungle, but that's Florida for you!

Amazing Julie! Here in Washington you have to practically use a spotting scope to see the fledgling Sandhill Cranes! happy.gif
