That's one BIG baby!!!

The Crows took a liking to my front bird bath this summer and decided to bring Junior with them!! He frequents the bath quite a number of times a day which means I'm filling it quite often!! Both Mom and Dad sit in the tree to keep a watchful eye and squawk when there's danger. happy.gif Lorena[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Lorena,

Are you sure that's not a raven instead of a crow? It looks too big (based on what I'm guessing is the size of the birdbath) to be a crow, and the size of the bill and the "rough" look to the feathers suggests raven as well.

Definitely a cool bird to have visit the bath!

Hi Kevin, Ravens aren't very common in this area but that would be very cool if it were![linked image]

It is large! You can tell the difference between a crow and a raven by their call if not their size. They don't sound anything alike. They fly over my house periodically chased by a bunch of crows.
