Thanks Helen - Titmice are very trusting - today I almost had a Nuthatch eat from a feeder I was hanging - another very trusting bird. It would fly within two inches of the feeder and back out - did this three times before I hung the feeder.

I think they're so sweet! Lizette (my friend in Metairie) is in a good location right near the Mississippi River levee and batture. I think she has something like 8 live oaks on her property. I was over during the week to try and help Nancy catch a Buff-bellied hummer and enjoyed Chickadees and Titmice feeding and bathing right next to us.

Another real pretty shot Russ,

We've got a lot of TUTI's here and we love 'em! A most delightful little bird. happy.gif

Thanks Kenn - Titmice, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Cardinals, Carolina Wrens and Woodpeckers are my main winter visitors that I enjoy. I get other pests in large numbers and they get to eat more than their share. LOL

Very nice pic Russ! I'm green with envy...[linked image]
Although it's a pretty common bird, it's still in my top 5 list I want to see. I wish we had Chicadees, Titmouse, Waxwings, Indigo Buntings and Bluebirds in our area...[linked image]
