So far three new lifers for me, two for Natasha.
Monday, while Tasha was enjoying a pedicure with a friend, I went to SPI with my father who is visiting us from the United Kingdom. We saw Yellow Headed Blackbirds which Natasha and I added to our life list only last year and the one extra lifer for me. A resplendent male Scarlet Tanager. The redness of his color was astounding. Male Summer Tanager hues are bright but his was unbeleivable.
Today Dad went on his own foray so Tash and I visited SPI. Plenty of the usual suspects but two new lifers - Kentucky Warbler and a Cape May Warbler with pictures to boot! Only down side were the mossies. I looked down on my bare legs when they started to itch and easily swiped away/killed two dozen of 'em. Next time need to bring the "Off" with me!
