My lovely wife Monique wears her hair ultra-short(about one-eighth of an inch long), or shaves her head smooth and bald, like some lady fashion models do, and like many women in Africa do. You can really see her beautiful feminine features with the bald look, and she compliments the look by wearing long earrings, a dainty nose stud in her left nostril, and sexy dresses!Our teenage daughters think their mom is very hip and chic! Have any of the lovely black women on this website tried the ultra-short or bald look that is so chic, feminine, and fashionable?
I have had ultra short hair. When I first went natural I had my hair cut down to 1/2 an inch. I rocked my TWA with earrings, makeup, and pretty clothes. Now my hair has grown to 3 inches and I sport a medium size afro, which I love.
Dear Charlene, I bet you look cool in your medium afro that you presently have, but I am sure you would agree that it must have been fun having a cute short twa. I know my wife loves the convienence of ultra-short hair, and she looks sensational, especially with the right earrings and makeup, as you mentioned. thanks for the advice johan. i've done the ultra short natural hair before and i did exactly what your wife does...accessorize (and i made sure my eyebrows were ALWAYS neatly arched-it makes a huge difference) i liked it but when i tried to grow it out, that was a major pain because of the in between stages. that'w why i was asking about the naturalaxer. i wanted to see if i could get a sort of curly look with less harsh chemicals. i don't want to keep the ultra short hair but i think that is my only alternative to get healthy hair again. thanks again for the advice.
I wear the ultra-short look hairstyle Johan, a very short twa, I have also shaved my head before and worn the bald look. I am married with two kids,and my husband loved it when I had the smooth bald look, he also loves my short twa. Ultra-short hair is easy to take care of, attractive, and great with earrings and scarves!
