Frizzy Hair in Humidity

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this problem. Every single morning I have to go through the same frustration. I comb out my hair from my overnight wrap which looks sleek and smooth at home. I step outside in an EXTREMELY humid FL climate, feel my ends getting literally wet, and when I get to school find my relaxed hair looking like air-dried virgin hair. When i style (wet-wrapping) my hair after I shampoo it, I use a combination of John Frieda's correcting serum, loreal's anti-frizz gel, and vital's care's shine gel. It's obviously not working. Can someone please help me?

Pascale:

If you are using a wrap foam, it's likely that the main ingredient is alcohol which is severly drying out your hair, beyond the already natural dryness of African-American hair. Your hair is literally soaking up the moisture from your humid climate because it's likely lacking sufficient moisture. The serum is not a moisturizer and is merely closing and sealing your cuticles. Be sure that the gels that you are using do not contain alcohol as well. Gels are notorious for this so read the ingredients carefully. Moisturize diligently, and best to you...
