Yes, but it won't look like a smooth relaxed type style.
I think it depends on your curl pattern if not too tight, you can wash, blow dry, use oils, smooth with brush, wrap & see.

_i am wearing my hair natural, I wash, blow dry,
my niece curls hairs to smooth. At night I brush & wrap I wear a cap. It keeps it tames & ends looks slightly bent. Just like when I had relaxed hair.
The hair is fuller, more texture at times but that depends on how well she curls hair.
If you use flat iron maybe even smoother.
Mines is just fine if I use Creme Hair Press with curler iron makes hair smoother.
