| I have had Natural hair for a few years now and have alternated between two strand twist and braiding.
However, I have found that since I have changed my routine at the gym and included more cardio work, I sweat a lot more and my hair just isn't coping very well.
My hair quickly becomes dull, dry, frizzy and generally looking unkept.
I would welcome any suggestions on how to keep my hair looking groomed without having to alter my keep fit routine, or step up an already time consuming hair maintainance regime. |

Its a hassle but s/times I'll go to the gym first in morn and keep twists in but put in all up in a pony with a thick headband or bandana around head. my hair is somewhat long so even when all up I can make a bun with the tips using pins, then work out and take them out afterwards.
Also if Its the middle of the day at work, the night before I will put some extra hold gel, etc, in my twists, then take them out so they are more defined then work out with my hair out. I have found that when you just leave it alone and just neatly pin the front and sides back flat, your definition is still there but you may need to bring a curling iron (small) to fix up the edges. It works!! | |
